Superb Groundsel is a glaucous, long-lived perennial shrub, growing to 1 m high, with bright yellow flower heads.

    Threats The main identified threats to Superb Groundsel include the isolation and scattered nature of the known populations competition from weeds grazing by goats (Capra hircus) or stock lack of recruitment of seedlings and possibly changes in fire regimes (Davies; 2004 DEH; 2005 DEWHA; 2007).
